5 Sci-fi games to look after next 2015....
Sci-fi,A very famous genre across hundreds of platforms and mediums such as Movies (Terminator,Transformer,iRobot.....),Books(1984,Ender's Game,Farenheit),Music(Olias of Sunhillow,'39.......),TV Shows (Doctor Who,Star Trek.....).But the thing that makes Sci-fi so great is what makes a Story so interesting that you just have to make it more interactive perhaps in the ever so undying field of gaming..
1.Cyberpunk 2077
If you have played Halo or Bioshock, This is a game you should not miss out. Well unlike Halo or Bioshock, Cyberpunk 2077 deals with a more serious and dark tone in a dystopian society in which you do not struggle to help others but in an effort to help yourself. It has a darker atmosphere than it's predecessor Cyberpunk 2020.Cyberpunk is a PC-exclusive title developed by CdProject.
2.SOMA
I'm have never been really fond of horror games,I remember as a kid I would play Silent Hill or Resident Evil with the light turned on and with somebody with me that was until I had enough guts to play my own solo flight horror game "Amnesia:The Dark Descent". SOMA is somewhat like Amnesia (and is made by the same developer, Frictional Games) only it is in a Science-fiction oriented Horror game.If you know how Frictional Games makes scary games, This is a must.
3.Star Lords
A turn-based Space strategy game made by Indie Game developer Arkavi Studios.Star Lord is where it's more focused having a more political layer than militaristic but either way you'll be doing what the USA does most of the time.It is available on Steam Early-access for the PC.
4.Halo 5:Guardians
Admit it you were kinda waiting on Halo appearing on this list, right?Well no surprise after the death of Cortana in Halo 4, We wanted to know on what had happened to the main man of the series,Master Chief.343 (the company that handles the Halo series after Bungie) announced that there will be a new character that would appear named Agent Locke ( That guy with the blue visor)who will be essential to Guardians.Unfortunately though for most gamers(namely X360 users) Halo 5 will only be exclusive to the Xbox one.
5.Starcraft 2:Legacy of the Void
Why does Blizzard plague us with such jest? First Diablo 3 now this..The third and last chapter of StarCraft2 doesn’t have a release date set yet but there’s a chance that StarCraft2′s Protoss campaign will still arrive this year, however with Blizzard you never know. Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void will be the final campaign(probably) for the Starcraft 2 game.Only time will tell whether or not this year or the next.Let's just hope that Blizzard releases this.

Vocaloid : A music maker's best friend...
Have you ever heard of programmed speech? How about programmed singing? If you said yes to either to the two questions, You have probably heard of VOCALOID. VOCALOID in essence is an artificial synthesizer (made by YAMAHA co)to be used commercially and professionally(or personally,Don't worry I won't judge you) to create life-like singing. Its signal processing part was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, in 2000 (the same team that later founded Voctro Labs) and originally was not intended to be a full commercial project. Backed by the Yamaha Corporation, it developed the software into the commercial product "Vocaloid."
Also to note that vocaloid also has cultural impact on society.Since the release of "Hatsune Miku" developed by Crypton Future Media's success and "her" success has led to the popularity of the Vocaloid software in general.Japanese video sharing website Nico Nico Douga played a fundamental role in the recognition and popularity of the software. A user of Hatsune Miku and an illustrator released a much-viewed video, in which "Hachune Miku", a super deformed Miku, held a Welsh onion (leek) (Negi in Japanese) and sang the Finnish song "Ievan Polkka" like the flash animation "Loituma Girl", on Nico Nico Douga.
Vocaloid was sold as a product for professional musicians, and although there were many producers using the software within Japan by 2011, a report was released detailing the true reflections of the Vocaloid craze. It was conducted independently by fans of the Vocaloid software and detailed the popularity of certain Vocaloids over others. Most Vocaloid related videos struggled to get over 5,000 views and the most popular producers gaining the most interest over lesser popular producers.

Powering the future......
The future.....Nothing sounds so ominous than the future (except of course, When your girlfriends says you have something to talk about, I suggest you migrate to Mexico under the name of Juan Dela Cruz before she gets the chance but that is out of the topic). One of the problems we have right now is either the world superpowers is in the verge of thermonuclear war and the lack of resources to support one. Almost everything runs on Oil, This has been our golden rule since the industrial revolution but sooner or later we'll run out of it eventually. So like all beggars on the street, We find an alternative. . . .
Now we have two alternative sources for our little dilemma : Solar and the infamous Nuclear (Which is like Nuclear with a different process and . Solar derives from the Latin word sol which means "sun". Solar energy is one of the alternative energy sources that is efficient, clean and comes from a source found everywhere namely the sun using a silicon photovoltaic module with a light-sensitive surface called a Solar Panel.
But due to the nature and limitations of today's technology, It is only 21.5% efficiency rate on commercial products. But scientist are studying on how to improve the designs of the module for better efficiency.
Pros:
>Has a lower production cost than most conventional power generators.
>Can be mounted in any flat surface.
Cons:
>Is useless in rainy or cloudy weather.
>produces less electricity than conventional power generators.
Nuclear is a little more dirty (Ifyouknowwhatimean ;3) for unlike Solar energy, Nuclear Energy leaves a lot of radioactive waste lying around. Normally people would be like "Meh" when they hear of disposing Nuclear Waste properly but technically Nuclear waste is basically like sh*t, Only difference it's a sh*t that kills. Now back to Nuclear Energy, Just as many conventional thermal power stations generate electricity by harnessing the thermal energy released from burning fossil fuels, nuclear power plants convert the energy released from the nucleus of an atom via nuclear fission that takes place in a nuclear reactor. The heat is removed from the reactor core by a cooling system that uses the heat to generate steam, which drives a steam turbine connected to a generator producing electricity. Nuclear energy is achieved by the fission of two molecules and uses a nuclear exothermic reaction to generate useful heat and energy. This type has been used to power aircraft carriers and submarines during the Second World War but due to the instability of the nature of Nuclear Reactors(Power plants for Nuclear Energy).A nuclear reactor is only part of the life-cycle for nuclear power. The process starts with mining (see Uranium mining). Uranium mines are underground, open-pit, or in-situ leach mines. In any case, the uranium ore is extracted, usually converted into a stable and compact form such as yellowcake, and then transported to a processing facility. Here, the yellowcake is converted to uranium hexafluoride, which is then enriched using various techniques. At this point, the enriched uranium, containing more than the natural 0.7% U-235, is used to make rods of the proper composition and geometry for the particular reactor that the fuel is destined for. The fuel rods will spend about 3 operational cycles (typically 6 years total now) inside the reactor, generally until about 3% of their uranium has been fissioned, then they will be moved to a spent fuel pool where the short lived isotopes generated by fission can decay away. After about 5 years in a spent fuel pool the spent fuel is radioactively and thermally cool enough to handle, and it can be moved to dry storage casks or reprocessed.
RFS Dmitri Donskoy (TK-208) is a Russian Navy nuclear ballistic missile submarine, designated Project 941 Akula class (NATO reporting name Typhoon)
Pros:
>Produces more power than a Solar Panel and most conventional means of power generation.
Cons:
>High-Maintenance.
>High-Risk.
>Volatile and Mutagenic waste.
>Refer to Chernobyl
The price of energy inputs and the environmental costs of every nuclear power plant continue long after the facility has finished generating its last useful electricity. Both nuclear reactors and uranium enrichment facilities must be decommissioned, returning the facility and its parts to a safe enough level to be entrusted for other uses. After a cooling-off period that may last as long as a century, reactors must be dismantled and cut into small pieces to be packed in containers for final disposal. The process is very expensive, time-consuming, dangerous for workers, hazardous to the natural environment, and presents new opportunities for human error, accidents or sabotage. The total energy required for decommissioning can be as much as 50% more than the energy needed for the original construction. In most cases, the decommissioning process costs between US $300 million to US$5.6 billion. Decommissioning at nuclear sites which have experienced a serious accident are the most expensive and time-consuming. In the U.S. there are 13 reactors that have permanently shut down and are in some phase of decommissioning, and none of them have completed the process.

ToD (Technology on Development) : Modern Warfare
In the ever expanding demand for technological advancements ranging from Agriculture to Medicine none have been so demanding as Modern Warfare .Due to the increased need of security from unstable political handling,War,Civil division and Terrorist incursions, The need of a safer and faster way to deliver ordinance and much needed security. In this post I will be discussing Black Knight UGCV(Unmanned Ground Combat Vehicle) and the MQ-9 Reaper Drone UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).
To start it off, Let's begin with the Black Knight UGCV. The Black Knight is a 9.5 ton UGCV prototype being developed by BAE Systems. The prototype is being tested in the United States. It can be used for missions that are a risk too manned-operated vehicles. These includescouting, intelligence gathering and terrain examination. The Black Knight can be integrated with existing systems. The Black Knight uses advanced robotic technology for autonomous mobility. Vehicle's perception and control module includes high sensitivity video cameras, Laser Radar (LADAR), thermal imaging camera and GPS. The sensor suite supports fully-automated operation. The Vehicle can maneuver and plan routes without human interaction. Black Knight's autonomous navigation system enables to detect negative obstacles and avoid them and is capable in operating day and night. The Black Knight is equipped with 25-mm cannon and coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun incorporated from the M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle .
From: Military Today
Vehicle is fitted with a Caterpillar diesel engine, with 300 horsepower. The Black Knight uses many automotive components from the Bradley to reduce costs and simplify maintenance. It's high maximum speed allows to keep pace with main battle tanks. The Black Knight can be airlifted by the C-130 transport aircraft. Though it is able to transverse areas without human intervention though It has however have no way of defining a target without the designation from command base. These are the specifications of the prototype so far:
Dimensions and weight
Weight: 9.5 tons
Length: 4.98m
Width: 2.44m
Height: 2m

Now let's move on to one of the more finished products of Modern Warfare and also one of my personal favorites. The MQ-9 Reaper Drone is the successor to the MQ-1 Predator Drone . The MQ-9 is the first hunter-killer UAV for long-endurance, high-altitude surveillance. It is developed by General Atomics, It is heavier and more capable than its predecessor. It uses the same ground systems as the MQ-1. The Reaper has a has a 950-shaft-horsepower (712 kW) turboprop engine, far more powerful than the Predator's 115 hp (86 kW) piston engine. The power increase allows the Reaper to carry 15 times more ordinance payload and cruise at almost three times faster than the speed of the MQ-1. The aircraft is monitored and controlled by aircrew in the Ground Control Station (GCS), including weapons employment.

With the success of the MQ-1 in combat, General Atomics anticipated the Air Force's desire for an upgraded aircraft and, using its own funds, set about redesigning the Predator drone for increased ability and thus the MQ-9 was born. Both drones saw action in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Well that ends this post's lesson. I hope you have learned on how much we have improved from the Second World War. From B-2 Bombers to Kill bots. This is Unf0r3seen signing off,Till then I will see you in the next post bye bye. :3

Rules of the Internet : The often forgotten truth...
The internet, One of technology's greatest achievements next to high-memory graphics cards allowing us to play more 2D and 3D games (Or you know Flash games,Those work too). But unlike graphics cards, The internet has much darker places you wish you could escape once you have entered.. That is why there are rules to warn those who explore the depths of the cyberspace from Creepypastas to Japanese stuff. Now I'm going to elaborate some notable rules for the first part (Notable rules numbers 1-47, I shall discuss the second part in another post) to make you further understand, Some rules are how you say..............risque?So be warned if you are under 18 years old, I am not responsible for any mental instability It might cause you for I'm just elaborating each in DETAIL.
To start of the subject let's start with......
RULE NO.1
"Do not talk about /b/"
Now this one in particular is quite confusing to not Internet person or more specifically someone who has an actual life due to the fact /b/ stands for the site itself but since your not allowed to talk about it, Citing this rule renders it useless.
RULE NO.2
"Do NOT talk about /b/"
Same as Rule no.1...
RULE NO.29
"In the internet all girls are men and all kids are undercover FBI agents"
Yeah, The irrefutable truth that escapes all internet goers. You don't exactly know the gender of one's personality in the internet for even in real-life we are plagued by traps and men who look like women or women who look like men. The internet is dangerous place to make friends. Kids on the other hand are FBI agents trying to catch sexual predators and what not.
RULE NO.32
"You must have pictures to prove your statements"
The famous "Pictures or it didn't happen" rule, An example situation would be "I killed a man" then there should be a selfie with you and the dead body either that you cut a part of his body and take it home or whatever fulfills you.
RULE NO.33
"Lurk more - it's never enough"
The only rule most weeaboos in the net actually listen to. The gateways in the internet are limitless so why not let your curiousity fly and search the deepest parts of the internet - if you dare.
RULE NO.34
"There is porn of it, no exceptions
If you have performed Rule no.33 correctly then you may come across Rule 34 and as it goes. It is the Golden rule of Internet people not because it is followed, Because it is the truth. After dedicated hours of research with a colleague who shall not be named THERE ARE in fact porn versions of common household appliances and utensils...And yes it came from a Japanese site. Assuming that Rule 34 is applied, Rule 43 will follow suit for even non-living objects can be anthropomorphic in nature...Just leave it to the weeaboos or as I like to call them Wizards of the net.
RULE NO.35
"If no porn is found at the moment, it will be made"
Somewhat related to Rule no.34 ......Though there are SOME exceptions due to obvious reasons....like examples such as Religion, Race, and Oprah and some others.
RULE NO.36
"If it exist, It's somebody's fetish."
Rule 34 has so many branches, One of it includes rule 36. There are people in the net that are aroused by well... the things inside the internet such as....uhmm..feet and uhm...inanimate objects. There is even a thing called pokephilia (Don't look it up.....I'm serious) and well yeah that's pretty much it.
RULE NO.42
"Nothing is sacred"
People on the net, most of the time has the wildest of imagination, Though sometimes this imagination destroys the Sanctity of a given person or object. Let us use Natalia Poklonskaya as an example, She is the Crimean prosecutor-general of Ukraine. but 4chan (The place where most weeaboos reside) has filed as a claimable "waifu"(i don't want to explain what it means). Some will go to the point of Photoshopping her image. Told you the internet is a dangerous place.
RULE NO.43
"The more beautiful and pure a thing is - the more satisfying it is to corrupt it"
Rule 34 and 42 apply to this, Remember that cute innocent-looking girl you saw in television once.Remember how her smile can turn anyone's frown around and looks like she was hand-crafted by Da Vinci. Well she doesn't look innocent anymore once she got on the internet and Oh how the weeaboos enjoy there new version of her. Good luck finding innocence here.
RULE NO.44
"Even one positive comment about Japanese things can make you a weaboo"
Yeah the stereotype of the Japanese is weird. Luckily not every Japanese man you see in the streets are weird, Some not all.But the internet doctrine for Japanese are "Smart,Productive and has weird taste". So one thing you say about you like about them (their women.their country, their and their Porn). You will be categorized as weeaboo...Sorry but it's the internet..
Well that ends the topic of the internet's rules that you cannot ignore...I'm serious these are like basic survival tips if you want to keep your sanity. For those who are curious about the other rules... Check out the source and a link to the updated version: RulesOfTheInternet Updated version: and as always I will see you in the next post bye! :3 .

Rise of the Machines.........
Have you ever wondered like if a computer or a machine had the ability to think and act for itself? Like in every sci-fi flick you've probably watched (Transformers,iRobot,Terminator and the like) there is probably that robot protagonist, antagonist or supporting character that needs no human interaction. Normally, Someone would freak and most likely say "Everybody run it's the Robot Apocalypse!" or something like that but do not worry that will not happen (yet...) for the most closest thing we have to walking, talking death machines is the ConceptNet 4 AI (short for Artificial Intelligence)made by researchers in University of Illinois, Chicago.
"Run don't look just run"
The ConceptNet 4 AI built at M.I.T was tested with a IQ test meant for preschool children. The AI answered the test averagely but inconsistently answered in several portions of the test.Robert Sloan, a professor and head of computer science at UIC and lead author of the study said, “If a child had scores that varied this much, it might be a symptom that something was wrong. While the AI system scored well in a vocabulary test and a similarity recognition test, its powers of reasoning were found wanting. “But ConceptNet 4 did dramatically worse than average on comprehension – the ‘why’ question" Sloan said. AIs in nature are very hard to develop because it lacks something that allows it to make sound, reasonable and logical judgments per situation in other words they lack common sense.Common sense is knowing something without necessarily having to know it. To a computer if water was boiling from a pot, It can measure the temperature of the water. To a human we would most likely say "I ain't touching that s***, It's boiling hot". “All of us know a huge number of things. As babies, we crawled around and yanked on things and learned that things fall. We yanked on other things and learned that dogs and cats don’t appreciate having their tails pulled.” Sloan said. He also added, “We’re still very far from programs with commonsense-AI that can answer comprehension questions with the skill of a child of 8,” I suppose we can forget the possibility of a robot uprising....for now. It's terrifying to think of a 6-ton machine gun-wielding entity of pure awesomeness walking down the street with Police shades wearing a leather jacket but still though It can also prove to be a great asset from caretakers to underwater divers. The possibilities are endless..One day we may even have AI-operated transport vehicles or even AIs that can hold a normal conversation we don't know when but soon maybe.

Yet Another VR set....
Hey minna! As promised I shall now discuss the HMZ-T3 or as I like to call it Sony's Personal Por- I mean 3D viewer...Now to start it off!
The HMZ-T3 is a Head-mounted display which was made by Sony to rival the Oculus rift through terms of immersion. Though technically as good as the Oculus it still is some of Sony's finest HMD technology. It boasts a 1270x720 OLED (Organic Light-emitting Diode) display with a 45° FOV. It is compatible to a PC and PS3 through the usage of an HDMI Cable.
So that's about it, I guess I should move on to actual technologies next...(Thermonuclear reactors anyone? :3)

Welcome to the Rift....

I have not posted in awhile because It's hard to manage many things at once, Unless you an octopus.Today we will discussing everyone's favorite 3D Gaming Head-mounted display, The Oculus Rift. The Oculus Rift (developed by the company of the same name),Founded by Palmer Luckey. The VR uses a 7 inch(18cm) LCD screen with a color depth of 24 bits/pixel. The Oculus has a 90 degree FOV(field of view). This VR headset is more optimal for gaming than any other use. This VR can be used for Oculus-compatible games such as Among The Sleep,Dreadout,Doorways and etc.
The Oculus rift is a cheaper alternative to Sony's HMZ-T3...which I will discuss next post.
