More Internet Culture....[Part 1]

NSFW- Read at your own risk!!! Welcome and today(more like night though) we will be discussing more about Internet Culture...and Today's topic is WAIFUISM.Now to officially open this thread I'll show you a video by J.T. Sexkik(Do not mind the username....Just Enjoy.

Now to elaborate Waifuism has become a substancial(95% of the internet) part in the lives of most Internet users but then again I can't speak for everybody but hey Waifuism is somewhat like a mock religion to others(and serious to some).

Waifuism in essence is due to the emergence of anime in America and Europe( and probably because of the japanese). It is something like an expression of gratitude to those artists who took their time to make anime characters as attractive as possible, and also as a satire to how much f**** humanity is.It does make great business,Dakimakuras are sold at a higher rate and population growth is being maintained.

Well As the old saying goes anyway "Nothing is more American than the internet".

Mac OS X vs. Windows

There has been a lot of debate in which OS is better: Windows 8 or Mac OS X. I have been a loyal follower of Windows (due to the fact my first laptop ran on Windows 2000) and I used a Mac OS whenever I went to my friend's house.I am here to decide (and or buy)a Mac for a better choice for a computer(unless it can't play games then I'll have to give it to some hobo).
Mac OS X and Windows 8 are competent OS. Mac has a versatile menagerie of tools for business while Windows is as versatile as the user.Though they some incompetent values such as security risk for Windows and Dependability in Mac but today we will discuss these one-by-one.

GUI
Whenever we look at the GUI of we see a metro-style simplistic UI while Apple has never changed the look of the OS ever since but heavily relies on mice and keyboards.Since the release of Windows 8 however, Many windows users are complaining on why the f*** do they a silly a** chess board when they should have the venerated Start menu in Windows 7.It only confuses an early windows user on how the h*** is he going to turn it off.....*sigh* I wish they could not have removed the transparency.Though the features of the new Windows UI has been a help me to me so far with the ability to make simple gestures for support when I need to zoom and I don't have a mouse so I shall vote for Microsoft......for now..

App Stores
Windows 8 has an App Store similar to the Mac.It's called the "Windows Store",It has a plethora of apps and some of not notable quality. This may be due to the fact that the OS has a different algorithm for apps than programs which causes such a dilemma.Though the OS X has been out for awhile and similar coding to older versions which makes it an easier platform for making new apps. That gives the Mac a point on the tally.

Default Browser
Web browsing is handled by Internet Explorer 10 and Safari, respectively. The former’s Modern UI version is clunky to use and the desktop version has a built-in Adobe Flash player, while the latter provides synchronised browsing across OS X and iOS devices and improved privacy features. Windows 8.1 is expected to introduce Internet Explorer 11 but, aside from development changes, nothing’s known about the new browser. The next version of Safari promises performance together with improved integration with social networks. One more point for Mac. *cries*

Business Applications
Microsoft has its roots in business, so it’s no surprise that the Pro and Enterprise versions are packed with features design to thrive in the office.Pro users get Remote Desktop for both client and host, BitLocker and EFS, partial app sideloading, VHD booting, domain and group policy tools and Hyper-V. Enterprise users get a little more: AppLocker, Windows To Go, BranchCache and virtualisation tools are all included. The standard version of Microsoft’s OS has multi-monitor support, an improved Task Manager and Exchange ActiveSync support – not strictly business features but ones that help end users. It’s a good start, and Windows 8.1 will add even more. There’s support for wireless secondary displays, auto-triggered VPNs, NFC pairing with printers and the ability for devices with mobile broadband to function as wireless hotspots. IT departments will also be able to standardise Start screen apps across swathes of corporate computers.Apple used to differentiate its consumer and enterprise software with separate OS X Server releases but this stopped with the release of Mountain Lion. Instead, the tools and administration utilities included in the OS are now rolled in to a £20 management app called Server. It’s the same situation for Mavericks, which will feature improved networking options and performance tweaks.Apple’s lack of different OS X versions means it’s not quite as stacked with business features as Windows 8, so it’s Microsoft that still takes the crown in business.Microsoft wins this round :3

Maintainability
Equipping an office with computers means it’s worth considering the future for your OS of choice. If you’ve bought Windows 8 then you’re in luck: Microsoft won’t be ending mainstream support until January 2018, and extended support won’t run out until all the way in 2023 – so you can safely use Windows 8 even though it will have been superseded by newer versions of the OS. Apple will likely support Mountain Lion and Mavericks for many years to come, but Cupertino’s locked-down approach means that you’ll only be able to upgrade to later versions of OS X if your hardware’s good enough. So when your colleagues are running a fully supported version of Windows 8 at the start of 2018 it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll be able to upgrade to the latest version of OS X.Apple’s software will continue to run smoothly on high-end hardware, but it also means that OS X-based machines will lag behind in just a few years. Microsoft’s approach wins for business thanks to machines that can be maintained and supported for over a decade.Microsoft points.

WINNER:Microsoft
I doubted Microsoft with the UI(I'm watching you mothaf****s) but amidst the confusion I realized I shouldn't buy a Mac(but then again I love the aesthetics of a Mac).Well as the french would say it "C'est la vie".

The Internet: As a culture...

The internet, The ever so growing universe in which people from all over the world share their thoughts and probably hang out in. Though aside from the rules of it I previously posted. The internet among other things, Has it's own culture. The culture of the internet is not necessarily a whole being by itself. The Cyberculture is the culture that has emerged, or is emerging, from the use of computer networks for communication, entertainment, and business. It is also the study of various social phenomena associated with the Internet and other new forms of the network communication, such as online communities, online multi-player gaming, wearable computing, social gaming, social media, mobile apps, augmented reality, and texting, and includes issues related to identity, privacy, and network formation.
Manifestations of Cyber culture
Manifestations of Cyberculture include various human interactions mediated by computer networks. They can be activities, pursuits, games, places and metaphors, and include a diverse base of applications. Some are supported by specialized software and others work on commonly accepted web protocols. Examples include but are not limited to:

> Blogs
Blogs (like your truly) are either informational, vocational or totally for entertainment purposes. This is either created normal people for things like posting their everyday life (or artwork they want to share but is to afraid of DeviantArt.went their myself once...My confidence in drawing was destroyed T_T), downloads (mods, hacked apks, pirated ISOs) purely informational(There's a site with a complete list of Naruto Episodes....No kidding) or purely entertainment(You know what I'm talking about.*wink*)

> Bulletin Board Systems
Bulletin Board Systems or Bulletin Boards are like virtual meetings to discuss a certain topic (something what politicians do except it's more hilarious and entertaining). It can also be and Image board in where you can find other people's collections of pictures of your favorite anime character (Rule #34 applies to this) or other points of interest(guns, cars, action figures, figmas, nendroids,Barrack Obama riding a lion while holding a M4A1 Assault Rifle).

> Chat This goes without saying, The ever so undying chat. Actually 75% in Entertainment sites,The chat box is more hilarious than the article on the page itself.Chat also provides some very interesting conversations from other people.

>[REDACTED FOR NSFW CONTENT] If something is redacted you know what is...

> E-Commerce
Are you familiar with those Dakimakura most otakus dream having? Well it's part of E-commerce,Who says you can't have a little money-making business on the internet besides all the [REDACTED] all over the net you can only assume that they're making money out of it because if people want it,Why not sell it?
Even Optimus likes what he sees.....

> Games
Gaming has become part of culture. It has formed alliances,Crossovers,Fanfictions,Doujinshi and even a cult(All hail the Helix Fossil!!!) .Gaming also spawns the creation of internet memes such as the famous "All our base are belong to us" and the "You have to beat the Father of the Korean Supermodel you want to date in Starcraft" and my favorite "There's a three in his post! HALF-LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!!"

> Internet memes
Self-explanatory memes are images that have satirical and comedic value, Memes are popular for their usage in making serious things hilarious. That is why most people make a joke something like "I'm going to hell for this" or "Worth it". Popular image boards that specialize in memes are 4chan,9gag and Danbooru.(Sites you should enter at your own risk).

> Peer-to-peer file sharing Peer-to-peer file sharing is a fancy term for "pirating" or what in the net is called "torrenting", When a guy downloads a file and completes the downloading. He is actually putting somewhat a host or in pirate terms "seed". This "seed" will allow another guy to download the file he just downloaded a lot quicker(but depends on his connection and seed-leech ratio as well).

> Social networks
Stereotypical sites(Facebook in which many people in the world gather to socialize(Ironically) with either old friends or complete strangers(Honestly how many people in your facebook page you have met personally?).It is also used to spread news(or rumors),propaganda and the likes just to save African children or a diseased patient needing immediate care from a surgeon.

> Virtual worlds
With the introduction of the Oculus rift virtual realitynever seemed so.....well.. real, Virtual worlds such as Immersive simulators create a sense of a somehow augmented reality in which not only do you see them but you feel you can touch them...but then again there are virtual worlds that do not offer the same immersion.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will be making a final one (or two more if I have the time) till then I will see you until the next post.

Evolution of Smartphones

Smartphones, Whenever we hear this word we often associate this with either Android or the famous iPhone. But what do you think really is the definition of the word "Smartphone"? Is it really just a phone with an OS? If so, We can say that every phone with Android or iOS can be considered a smartphone. What about those previous phones that had no OS could be considered a dumbphone regardless on whether it can perform different tasks simultaneously .Well that's a common misconception(or not), Smartphones have been around for more than 20 years (and yes it is older than the very first iPhone...). Today I will discuss the ENTIRE HISTORY(maybe not entire but the important parts of the history)of Smartphones.

1.The very first Smartphone (IBM Simon(IBM/BellSouth) - 1993)
The very first Smartphone to be ever commercially-produced is the IBM Simon.Though it lacked the capacitive touch screen that most modern smartphones have today instead it had a monochrome backlight LCD touchscreen that seemed like a gameboy(the old one before the Gameboy color). The IBM Simon was part-mobile phone,part-PDA(Personal Digital Assistant),part-fax machine and had basic apps like a calendar, a calculator and an address book.

2.The phone that coined the name (Ericsson Phone GS88(Ericsson Mobile) - 1997)
In 1997, The term "smartphone" was first used upon the release of the GS88.It had a QWERTY keypad that can be found in today's laptops and computers.

3.The very first Smartphone with an OS(Ericsson R380 (Ericsson Mobile) - 2000)
The R380 was the very first Smartphone that had an open operating system, The Symbian OS.Symbian is like it's successor Android in so many ways..One would be it ran exclusively on ARM processors. It was one of the OS of choice for Samsung until.....ironically Android was developed.

4.First Smartphone for wireless email use (BlackBerry 5810 (BlackBerry) - 2006)
The BlackBerry era started in earnest in March 2002, when RIM unveiled the BlackBerry 5810. It was the first handheld from RIM to carry GSM and GPRS, although phone service was almost incidental when owners had to plug in a headset just to make calls.

5.First Smartphone to have a multi-touch interface (Apple iPhone[Generation 1] (Apple Inc.) - 2007)
You were expecting me to put an iPhone here weren't you?Come on admit it. Well, I can't blame you. The Apple iPhone was the very first with a capacitive touch screen, It boasts a 412 MHz processor, A 2MP rear camera, a 3.5" screen and 320x480 resolution plus it ran on iOS 3.This phone is pretty way off against it's modern counterpart.

5.First Android Phone (HTC Dream (HTC) - 2008 The very first Android Smartphone was the HTC Dream.Since there was an Apple entry might as well put some fanservice for the 'Droid dudes and dudettes out there. The HTC dream runs on Donut.....Yes Donut..to be more specific Android 1.6 Donut, The Dream has a 320x480 resolution in a 3.2" display. It utilizes a 528Mhz ARM processor and 3.2MP camera with an unusual 2048 x 1536 pixels and autofocus feature. It was the only competition the iPhone had during the start of the 21st Century...

Now what did you like in this article? From the looks of thing technology has gotten pretty far from wireless technology to the predecessors of the smartphones of what we have today. That said, will our dependence technology also increase? or will it benefit us even more?Only time shall tell and until then this is Unf0r3seen signing off.Bye-bye!(ó ì_í)=óò=(ì_í ò)

Parallel Universes : A look into the possibly unknown....

Parallel Universes(also known as Multiverse) , Whenever we hear this word we often relate it this to physics than actual technology. As I was playing this game named Bioshock Infinite, I noticed on how unusual the happenings are occurring and though it kinda confusing in definition: Existing in the same place in the same time but not in the same universe. Now we are not going to talk about the game exactly but the concept within it's canon. The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe within it and the relationships among the various constituent universes, depend on the specific multiverse hypothesis considered. Multiple universes have been hypothesized in cosmology, physics, astronomy, religion, philosophy, transpersonal psychology, and fiction,

Now let's return to the main subject: Parallel Universes exist in the same place in the same time but not necessarily mean in the same universe...In layman's terms: You don't occupy the same space as your parallel version's....

There are also somethings that are more complex than the above situation.Such as in the name "parallel", These dimensions would never meet. In one universe,Adolf Hitler may have won the Second World War and all of Europe would have the banner of Nazi Germany.Bill Gates might not have founded Microsoft. or what's worse is that We would have discovered the internet. In each second the generation of multiple parallel universes might occur.

Wikia - Bioshock
Maybe in the future, We may be able to see the universes parallel to ours'. Who knows...We may already have discovered the technology and used it for commercial purposes.Well only time or shall I say. In another universe shall the story be told.

Gundams (minus the rockets, the lasers and the swords) in real-life...

Gundams, in Otaku lore is a machine capable of autonomous flight and movement.Japan is most famous for weird stuff and technology beyond our western brethren. The Kuratas mecha bot developed by Suidobashi Heavy Industry is a mecha capable of Gundam-based stuff(minus the lasers and cool stuff :( ).Unveiled at Wonder Fest 2012 in Tokyo, controlled by either a master-slave controller or a more fluid Kinect.

It has a BB gun that fires at you whenever you smile and "Rocket" launchers.Though this may sound cool it's not quite.....ready for commercialization. It is not military-applicable, It can only move at 10 kmh much slower than your average Heavy tank.Next time, We will be discussing inconsistencies and misconceptions about the technological timeline.

5 Sci-fi games to look after next 2015....

Sci-fi,A very famous genre across hundreds of platforms and mediums such as Movies (Terminator,Transformer,iRobot.....),Books(1984,Ender's Game,Farenheit),Music(Olias of Sunhillow,'39.......),TV Shows (Doctor Who,Star Trek.....).But the thing that makes Sci-fi so great is what makes a Story so interesting that you just have to make it more interactive perhaps in the ever so undying field of gaming..

1.Cyberpunk 2077
If you have played Halo or Bioshock, This is a game you should not miss out. Well unlike Halo or Bioshock, Cyberpunk 2077 deals with a more serious and dark tone in a dystopian society in which you do not struggle to help others but in an effort to help yourself. It has a darker atmosphere than it's predecessor Cyberpunk 2020.Cyberpunk is a PC-exclusive title developed by CdProject.

2.SOMA

I'm have never been really fond of horror games,I remember as a kid I would play Silent Hill or Resident Evil with the light turned on and with somebody with me that was until I had enough guts to play my own solo flight horror game "Amnesia:The Dark Descent". SOMA is somewhat like Amnesia (and is made by the same developer, Frictional Games) only it is in a Science-fiction oriented Horror game.If you know how Frictional Games makes scary games, This is a must.

3.Star Lords

A turn-based Space strategy game made by Indie Game developer Arkavi Studios.Star Lord is where it's more focused having a more political layer than militaristic but either way you'll be doing what the USA does most of the time.It is available on Steam Early-access for the PC.
4.Halo 5:Guardians

Admit it you were kinda waiting on Halo appearing on this list, right?Well no surprise after the death of Cortana in Halo 4, We wanted to know on what had happened to the main man of the series,Master Chief.343 (the company that handles the Halo series after Bungie) announced that there will be a new character that would appear named Agent Locke ( That guy with the blue visor)who will be essential to Guardians.Unfortunately though for most gamers(namely X360 users) Halo 5 will only be exclusive to the Xbox one.
5.Starcraft 2:Legacy of the Void

Why does Blizzard plague us with such jest? First Diablo 3 now this..The third and last chapter of StarCraft2 doesn’t have a release date set yet but there’s a chance that StarCraft2′s Protoss campaign will still arrive this year, however with Blizzard you never know. Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void will be the final campaign(probably) for the Starcraft 2 game.Only time will tell whether or not this year or the next.Let's just hope that Blizzard releases this.
